As President of the InterAmerican Society of Hypertension (IASH), it is my pleasure to invite you to submit your best scientific work on hypertension, vascular biology, kidney, heart and nervous control of the circulation in health and disease, or to attend the upcoming XVIIth Scientific Meeting of the InterAmerican Society of Hypertension in Miami, FL, in May 2007. I am delighted that this meeting will be organized by two highly experienced IASH members, Drs. Carlos Ferrario and Leopoldo Raij, and I am sure that it will be a memorable experience from the scientific, professional, educational, and personal points of view for all attendees. This meeting will as well be the venue for the first course for the IASH Hypertension Specialist Program, that will provide candidates to the title of Hypertension Specialist of IASH the knowledge that will allow them to succeed in obtaining this prestigious title.
