In our quest to foster investigation of cardiovascular
disease mechanisms, COSEHC invites the submission of abstracts
describing basic clinical research studies performed primarily
by medical residents, basic or clinical post-doctoral fellows,
or investigators who hold junior faculty appointments.
Ten posters will be selected by the Program
Committee and displayed at the scientific poster session held
during COSEHC’s scientific symposium. Investigators
of the selected posters will receive a travel fellowship to
pay for travel, hotel room, and registration to attend the
meeting. Three of the ten posters will be selected for award
recognition.
Award categories include:
- Basic Science
- Clinical Science
- Public Health
The three award recipients will receive a travel
fellowship plus be invited to present their research during
a scheduled lecture session at the annual scientific symposium.
This will include an honorarium to the award recipient of
$ 1,000.
